석사과정 지원자를 위한 안내 (MA)

성공적으로 학부과정을 마친 학생은 독일의 석사과정에 바로 지원하실 수 있습니다.

독일의 석사학위의 전제 조건은 성공적으로 종합대학을 마친 학사학위(BA) 입니다. 일반적으로 학부와 완전히 다른 전공을 독일대학에서 석사부터 시작하는 것은 가능하지 않습니다.  석사학위 과정에서는 학부에서 배운 지식을 심화시키고 특정분야로 확장하거나 전문화 할 수 있습니다. 따라서 연계전공이나 유사전공으로의 석사과정 진학이 가능하기도 합니다.  그러나 경우에 따라 바로 대학원 입학이 불가능한 경우가 있습니다. 한국의 대학에서 들은 복수전공의 전공학점을  ECTS 로 환산했을 경우, 전공학점이 충분하지 않을 수 있기 때문입니다.  이런 경우 일반적으로 학부에서 일정 수준 전공수업을 더 들은 뒤 석사에 진학하도록 하거나, 대학에 따라서는 석사과정을 이수하면서 학부 수업을 듣게 하는 경우도 있습니다. 또는 완전히 다른 전공이지만, 석사과정의 성격에 따라 입학을 허용하는 경우도 있습니다. 반드시 독일 대학에 미리 문의하시기 바랍니다. 일반적으로 2-4학기이지만, 과정에 따라서는 더 길거나 더 짧을 수 있습니다. 반드시 홈페이지를 참고하십시오.

석사학위의 종류는 Master of Arts (M.A.), Master of Science (M.Sc.), Master of Engineerung (M.Eng.) 등이 있습니다.

독일의 전통적인 학위인 디플롬 (Diplom)이나 마기스터 (Magister) 학위를 수여하는 과정도 여전히 존재합니다. 이는 석사 (Master)학위와 비교할 수 있는 학위입니다.

이곳에서 전공에 따라 또는 대학 위치에 따른 랭킹을  검색할 수 있습니다.

(1) 적합한 프로그램 찾기 : All study programmes in Germany

(2) 외국인 사무실에 연락하거나 웹사이를 통해 자세한 정보를 얻은 뒤 지원 마감일 확인

  • 지원시기 확인: 일반적으로 여름학기 지원기간은매년 1월 15일까지, 겨울학기는 매년 7월 15일까지입니다. (독일 대학은 주로 겨울학기에 시작합니다.)
  • 그러나 석사과정의 지원시기는 대학마다 매우 상이합니다. 또한 몇몇 대학은 1년에 한 번만(보통 겨울학기) 학생들을 모집합니다. 따라서 지원하기 전에 반드시 대학의 웹사이트에서 마감일을 체크하십시오.

(3) 지원서류 작성 및 필요한 자료(링크) 모으기

(4) 우니-아시스트나 대학교에 직접 지원

(5) 대학으로부터 입학허가 받기  (일반적으로 약 4주 소요)

(6) 비자신청 (주한독일대사관)

(7) 출국

  • dMAT는 독일대학의 석사과정에 지원하고자하는 외국인을 대상으로 하며, IBT방식으로만 시행됩니다. 지원하고자 하는 독일대학이 이 시험에 응시할 것을 요구할 경우, 반드시 시험에 응시해 결과를 제출해야 합니다.
  • 홈페이지 www.d-mat.de에서 일정을 확인하여 응시자가 직접 등록, 결제합니다(150유로).
